Our products are covered by guarantees outlined by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). You have the right to a replacement or refund for major manufacturing defects, as well as repairs or replacements if the goods are not of acceptable quality. We assure that all our products are free from material and workmanship defects starting from the purchase date. Warranty periods apply under normal usage conditions. However, our warranty policy does not cover:

• Non-compliance with operating instructions

• Client mishandling (e.g., dropping the machine with humidification, leading to water leakage

• Incorrect usage or handling of the device

•  Repairs or modifications by unauthorized individuals

• Transport damage due to improper packaging (e.g., traveling with water in the humidifier)

Products beyond their warranty period will be assessed upon receipt at an NCS Clinic, with associated costs billed to the patient.

1.4 Machine Warranty

Machine Warranty

National Clinical Services offers warranty, servicing, and support for Sleep Machines purchased through our clinic.

Lowenstein Warranty:

• Lowenstein machines have a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, covering issues like noisy motors and water ingress at NCS's discretion.

• Lowenstein Humidifier Products have a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, entitling you to a replacement if the humidifier becomes unusable within this period.

• Lowenstein Masks are covered by a 6-month warranty for manufacturing defects, allowing replacements or refunds within this timeframe.

Sefam Warranty:

• Sefam machines have a 3-year manufacturer's warranty

• Sefam humidifiers have a 6 month warranty, entitling you to a replacement if the humidifier becomes unusable.

• Sefam masks and accessories have a 3 month warranty.

Resmed Warranty:

• Resmed machines come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, with options to extend to 3-5 years at a cost.

• Resmed Humidifiers have a 3-month warranty for tub issues, guaranteeing a replacement if the tub becomes unusable.

• Resmed Masks are warranted for 90 days for manufacturing defects, excluding AirTouch Memory Foam Cushions, which have a 7-day warranty. Accessories like tubing, water tubs, and SD Cards are also covered within this 90-day period.

 
All warranty devices must be returned to an NCS office for assessment. Patients who purchased devices through NCS will receive a loan device while their device is repaired. For devices not purchased through NCS or outside the warranty period, servicing and loan device rental fees will apply.
